Check back soon for details on the Hobbs Fitness Boot Camp.
If its one thing I miss about the army then it would have to be the physical training. It was always tough, but when you’re in a group with like-minded people it soon becomes enjoyable, even somewhat addictive. From being out training in torrential rain, freezing cold winter mornings or blazing summer days, you’re all in the same boat – together. It was a combination of this, and having a refuse-to-give-up kind of attitude that made these sessions so much fun. Whether that was trying to smash your mucker’s best time on the assault course, or hanging out on a log run, the sense of achievement at the end (along with the results) made it all worth it.
Its those feelings that made me start the first boot camp years ago, and I always wanted to go back to it when the relocation was complete. The sessions will be inspired by my time in the military, but with a friendly approach. I will often be found along side you all during these sessions, I wouldn’t expect you guys to do anything I wouldn’t do myself. Its taken a little longer than anticipated but it will be available in Nottingham soon. If you want to be one of the first to know, make sure you sign up to the Hobs Fitness newsletter.
